We at W & H are particularly proud if we are allowed to accompany our customers over many years and of the long lasting trust that is placed in us and our technologies. The partnership with Paperbags Ltd, the specialist for bags and sacks from Kenya, is a good example for such a relationship that lasted decades.

Paper bag lines from GARANT and printing presses from W&H

In 1967, Khetshi Chandaria founded the family business and from the very beginning relied on paper bag machines from the W&H group. Today, the family business is run by the third generation of the family and is growing very successfully. Paperbags today is one of the largest suppliers of paper bags in the African market. Growing in size, the need for machinery also increased: the machinery, in which Paperbags has invested, still consists exclusively of paper bag lines from GARANT and printing presses from W&H.

Innovation, quality and reliability as shared values

Representatives of GARANT and W&H were invited to the big anniversary celebrations. Dieter Schallenberg, Managing Director of GARANT, held a speech in which he thanked for the long-lasting partnership. "Paperbags and W&H were connected right from the start by our shared high quality standards. Over the years, this has become a trusting and friendly relationship that is valued and cultivated by both sides. We congratulate our partner for 50 years of success". "Paperbags was and will always be a pioneer in Kenya in terms of modern bag production - looking back on the past fifty years as well as the coming ones," confirms K.K. Chandaria  at Paperbags. "With GARANT and W&H, we have found a partner who shares our values: innovation, quality and reliability".
