Windmöller & Hölscher strengthens
its position in Southern Africa
The German machine manufacturer Windmöller & Hölscher is confident
that the Southern African
market for Flexible Packaging will continue
to grow and so has decided to strengthen its position
there. It is
for this reason that Mr. Simon Pollock has been appointed Area Sales
Manager Southern
Africa as of 1 August 2008.
Simon Pollock is well known in the Flexible Packaging industry and
has many years' experience in
the operation, sales and support of extrusion,
printing and bag making machinery. "We are confident
that Simon's
contribution to the sale and support of W&H equipment will be well
received both by
existing W&H customers and potential customers," explains
Peter Steinbeck, Managing Partner of Windmöller & Hölscher, the
company's decision to increase their sales activities in this market.
Simon Pollock will be based in Durban and work from the offices of
IPEX Machinery, the W&H agency in South Africa, in Pinetown, Durban.
He will be responsible for all products of Windmöller & Hölscher.

and equipment for the
Flexible Packaging industry with global presence.
Their product range encompasses blown and
cast film extrusion lines,
flexographic and gravure printing machines, finishing machines, sack,
bag and carrier bag making machines, FFS (Form, Fill and Seal) packaging
systems, and converting equipment for woven plastic materials. |
