Training Program
The W&H Training Centre Program is aimed at the following groups:
- Shift supervisors / machine operators / auxiliary staff
- Job preparation staff
- Electricians / electronic engineers
- Mechanical maintenance
- Process control
… that is all people who want to obtain, extend or deepen their
knowledge in the areas of operation, functioning and maintenance of
the specific W&H equipment they will be responsible for. Training
is provided by highly qualified trainers who are fully familiar with
the requirements in the field.

Training: Extrusion Systems
Training courses are aimed at providing participants with the knowledge
and skill it takes to produce superb quality film on
our VAREX blown
film as well as FILMEX cast film lines.
Both classroom and hands-on
training concentrate on the mode
of functioning as well as operation, maintenance,
electric layout
and troubleshooting of the extrusion line.

Training: Printing and Finishing Machines The W&H
training program for printing and finishing machines provides training courses
on the ASTRAFLEX, NOVOFLEX,
and PRIMAFLEX C.I.
flexo presses as well as on the HELIOSTAR rotogravure
press. Training subjects address the basics of mechanical and electric/electronic
lay-out, machine design/
equipment, operation and maintenance.

Training: Converting Machines / Multiwall The focus of the training courses in the area of converting machines
is
on AM tubers,
AD bottomers,
and ARCOMAT robot
palletizers
for the production of paper sacks. Participants in training courses
on multiwall
equipment are introduced to multiwall sack technology and, in addition, learn
the basics of mechanical and electric machine design, operation, maintenance
and troubleshooting of the various machines.

Training: FFS Packaging Systems
W&H FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) packaging systems DIAMANT, TOPAS,
and OPAL are designed
to form, fill, and seal plastic sacks in a single pass. Participants get
an insight into the engineering concept of the machines and will acquire
basic knowledge with regard to operation and maintenance, electric layout
and troubleshooting procedures of the FFS machines.

Special Training Subjects
In addition to training courses on current W&H machines, the W&H Training
Centre offers training for
older machinery and equipment that does no longer form
part of our today's manufacturing program.
Training courses are held in German or English. If other languages are required,
an interpreter can
be provided, either by customer or by W&H. Participants
in training courses will get detailed handout material on the various training
subjects.
